Eucalyptus

It is collected mainly in summer (June/August). During this period other blooms are sporadic, so it is possible to achieve a harvest with a higher percentage of monofloral.

Eucalyptus is a plant native to Australia and was introduced in Sardinia in the 20th century to help reforestation and land reclamation.
It is a plant that adapts to difficult terrain, hot and dry climate and tolerates drought.
Its flowers are white and fragrant.

In beekeeping, a monofloral honey is produced with balsamic and antipyretic properties.
The color varies from amber to dark, turning beige upon natural crystallization.
It is an excellent remedy for the respiratory tract, useful against coughs and sore throats.

Our honey is pure, contains no essential oils (which alter aroma and flavor), so it can be used by everyone (including pregnant women and children from 2 to 6 years) without contraindications.
In the kitchen it is perfect paired with fresh and aged cheeses, excellent for sweetening hot drinks such as tea or milk.

We create themed packages for special occasions (communions, confirmations, weddings) or any other event you desire.
